These are your elected officials for the 2021-2022 Executive Board. Listed below is a snapshot and description of each member of the E-Board. Feel free to contact them with any questions or concerns!

President
Lauren Lacoursiere

Lauren is currently a P2 student from Tecumseh, ON, Canada. She graduated from the University of Windsor in 2019 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biochemistry. Upon graduating with her PharmD, Lauren plans to pursue both a PGY1 and PGY2 residency. In her role as President elect, Lauren is excited to be the bridge between her fellow classmates and health systems pharmacy by helping to facilitate their exposure to residency programs and the career opportunities that they present.

Madeline Mocarski

Madeline is a current P2 student from Wilson, NY. She entered the UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences through the early assurance program, and successfully completed the required two years of undergraduate studies. Madeline has worked in a community pharmacy for 3 plus years, and is planning to pursue both a PGY1 and PGY2 residency after graduation. As President-Elect, and a P2 liaison, she hopes to maintain the welcoming atmosphere for SSHP; in addition to, being a valuable resource to those as they navigate their way to postgraduate training, and explore the many opportunities that come with a residency.

Lydia is currently a P3 student from Sleepy Hollow, NY. She graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry. Lydia currently works as a Pharmacy Intern at CVS and Catholic Health. She plans on pursuing for a PGY1 upon graduating with her PharmD. As Secretary, Lydia hopes to maintain the membership records and aid members in building their connections.

Panjie Chen

Panjie is currently a P3 student from Pennsylvania who entered UB School of Pharmacy through the early assurance program. She is currently working as a pharmacy intern at Buffalo General Medical Center and plans to pursue a PGY1 and PGY2 residency after graduation. As the treasurer for SSHP, she is hoping to run fundraising events to help fellow students and neighboring communities and maintain a balanced budget for the organization.

Koheleth Seidman

Koheleth (Kol) is a P3 student from Long Island NY. He graduated in 2018 from the University at Buffalo with a bachelor's degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology. He is currently a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Pharmacy and at Cardinal Health, but plans to pursue a PGY1 and PGY2 residency after he graduates. As the Director of Communications, he wants to create awareness about upcoming SSHP events and organize recruitment and membership drives.

Paige Moreno

Paige is currently a P3 from Buffalo, NY. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University at Buffalo before being accepted into UBSPPS. She previously worked as a pharmacy technician at Rite Aid for 3 years and is now employed as a pharmacy intern at Erie County Medical Center (ECMC). By being involved in the Student Society of Health System Pharmacists (SSHP), the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP), Dean's Student Ambassadors (DSA) and the School of Pharmacy Student Association (SPSA) she hopes to gain a residency after graduation and leave a positive impact on the UBSPPS student body. Advocating for pharmacy policies as policy chair is one way she wishes to improve the field of pharmacy while a residency and future career as a Clinical Pharmacist with a focus on helping the geriatric population.

Jin is currently a P2 student from Queens, NY. She graduated in 2019 from the City College of New York with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biochemistry. She plans to complete PGY1 and PGY2 specialized residency in oncology. As a P2 liaison, Jin hopes to share various opportunities that SSHP has offered to prepare fellow students for their residency goals.

Nicholas Nawrocki

Nick is currently a P2 student from Lewiston, NY who completed the 2-year Early Assurance program at UB which involved 2 years of required undergraduate studies prior to pharmacy school. Upon graduating with a PharmD, he plans on pursuing at least a PGY1 residency and potentially a PGY2 residency as well. As a P2 liaison, Nick is excited to be involved in an organization that will help prepare him for his career aspirations as well as helping his peers prepare for and achieve their own career aspirations. He hopes to take advantage of as many opportunities that SSHP has to offer and to be a valuable resource to his fellow peers who may also be pursuing postgraduate residencies.
